Dattebayo to pick up new show "Pythagoras Switch"
2006/09/07
April 19 2006Dattebayo announced today that it would be officially picking up the 15-minute Japanese children's show "Pythagoras Switch".
Each episode is a mixture of live-action animation, puppetry, Rube-Goldberg machines and algorithm marches. Each episode has a runtime of 15 minutes. The title of the show is derived from what Rube-Goldberg devices are called in Japanese.
The decision to sub the show was partially based on fan response to the "Bleach 73 Troll Episode" which contained clips of the Rube-Goldberg machines and an algorithm march cut together.
Dattebayo is proud to be the first to bring you this unique show. The show will not be subbed on a regular schedule like other shows, new episodes will be released as they are completed. The episodes do not have a sequential plot, so they will bear the date on which they aired as their reference number.
