Dattebayo's Naruto 151 hits 300,000 Bittorrent Downloads

Continuing its trend of new landmarks in fansubbing, Dattebayo is thrilled to report that Naruto Episode 151 has been the first fansub ever to obtain 300,000 downloads via bittorrent, in addition to numerous downloads via file servers, direct http downloads and peer to peer networks. The total estimated download count for the episode is 314,000 unique downloads.
It is not known why episode 151, the final episode of the Bikouchuu Arc, was the episode to reach 300,000. Dattebayo suspects it may be the last episode many fans watched as they abandoned the filler season. Several more episodes are slowly approaching 300,000 downloads but it is unlikely that another will reach it within the next several months.
It is anticipated that once the filler season ends, there will be a surge in Naruto download numbers, and that seeing 300,000 downloads on a single episode will be even more common.
Dattebayo staff will celebrate the event with a private party this week at their headquarters.
